You Said You Loved Me (Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Episode 2 Review)

“Love me, love me. Say that you love me…”

So… they actually slept together? I THOUGHT THAT WAS JUST A FANTASY

I will take this moment to quickly congratulate Ritsu for getting Masamune on the first try, because this is an event that happens to shy people every 1,000 years.

I’m glad he didn’t get too upset when Masamune had laughed at him. If it were me I’d be so embarrassed/ashamed over giving myself up that easily. But even so I still think Ritsu should’ve asked him why he laughed in order to clear up all of that confusion.

But then again, we wouldn’t have that important piece of the plot had this not happened… It bothers me but whatever -_-

EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT TAKANO TURNING TO RITSU AND SAYING “YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME” I CAN’T HELP BUT START LAUGHING

I just can’t believe that this huge, cold-looking guy is a big romantic. Everything else about his personality would make think he wasn’t, at least to me. But his job in shoujo manga makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. It’s no wonder he’s so passionate about getting results.

One complaint I’ve started to develop since the first episode is… Why is Masamune so forceful?? I mean I get that he won’t be able to prove his point to Ritsu, but can the guy please be a bit less pushy? It was a little hard to explain this scene to my parents.

But now, the chase begins! I can’t wait to see what Masamune’s willing to do in order to get Ritsu to say he loves him.

Until next time!
